Pfizer Sells Swine Vaccine Subsidiary to Harbin

Pfizer has reached a deal to sell its China swine vaccine business to Harbin Pharmaceutical Group, the highest bidder, for $50 million. Pfizer was ordered to divest the business as part of China’s approval of its merger with Wyeth last year.
