First China Pharma Acquires Fellow Drug Distributor

First China Pharmaceutical Group has signed a Letter of Intent to acquire Shenzhen Ming He Tang Pharmaceutical Co., a drug distributor located in Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province. First China said the purchase would give it a foothold in the prosperous south China drug marketplace. Although the transaction will not be huge, it reflects a larger trend – the ongoing consolidation of China’s highly fragmented drug distribution system. More details....
