ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES (NASDAQ: IMOS ) today announced that its Board of Directors has approved the repurchase of 12.2% ownership position in ChipMOS from the Company's subsidiary, ThaiLin Semiconductor Corporation ("ThaiLin").
