Elemental Clash is a non-collectible, yet highly customizable and expandable fantasy card game for 2-4 players developed by Austrian game designer Andreas Propst. The game is fast-paced, easy-to-pick- up, yet offering great strategic depth and immersive and exciting gameplay. Elemental Clash was conceived in one night’s epiphany back in 2006 by the then Social Work student Andreas Propst from Austria and the current version is the result of 7 years of development. After contracting a severe tropical illness during a practical placement in India in 2008, Propst was forced to discontinue his studies. Having always been a creative mind, the young artist and would-be game designer used this life crisis as a chance and made his passion a profession. Since that, Propst managed, while working on countless other projects, to single handedly create a card game which can, according to experts in the gaming scene, compare to big names like “Magic: the Gathering” and “Yu-Gi-Oh!”, both in visuals and gameplay value.
