Merkel 'pushes for $1.9B patrol boat deal with Saudi Arabia'

BEIRUT, Lebanon, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- German Chancellor Angela Merkel's new coalition government is reported to be pushing hard to nail down a $1.9 billion contract with Saudi Arabia for 100 patrol boats expected to be built by the Lurssen shipyard of Bremen.
