Hainan Haiyao Announces $41 Million Pharma VC Fund

Hainan Haiyao, a pharma that makes both chemical drugs and TCM products, will invest $20 million in a pharma-focused venture capital JV. Hainan Haiyao will own 49% of the JV, which will be called the Hainan Huantai Bio-Pharmaceutical Investment Fund. The fund will be capitalized with $40.7 million.
