Sheridan, the Physician Services Division of AmSurg Corp. (NASDAQ: AMSG), is further expanding its anesthesiology services business through the acquisition of Halifax Anesthesiology Associates, P.A., which provides anesthesia services for Halifax Hospital Medical Center facilities in the Daytona Beach, Florida, market. The practice has a staff of eight physicians and 23 certified registered nurse anesthetists and further strengthens Physician Services’ presence on the east coast of Florida.
