UPDATE 1-Miner Cliffs Natural sees improved profitability in H2

July 29 (Reuters) - Iron ore and coal producer Cliffs Natural Resources Inc reported a second-quarter profit, compared with a year-ago loss, on lower costs and said it expects "improved" profitability in the second half of the year.
