Perennial Real Estate Holdings, a Singapore developer, plans to build large integrated healthcare hubs in 20 to 40 Chinese cities. Its projects will be modeled on a Chengdu facility, already under construction. Yesterday, Perennial signed a lease with a subsidiary of IHH Healthcare to run the 350 bed hospital associated with the facility. Last week, it formed a JV with Shanghai Summit and Shanghai RST Chinese Medicine to operate an eldercare facility in the hub, which will also include hotels, serviced apartments, commercial offices and retail in a mixed-use facility.
