Stocks rose today as markets adjusted to the Fed's hawkish comments on Friday thanks to a muted PCE deflator . The S&P 500 rose 0.5% to 2,180.38 today, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 107.59 points, or 0.6%, to 18,502.99. The Nasdaq Composite advanced 0.3% to 5,232.33.
