Flexfit on Kickstarter September 15th

​​Young entrepreneurs and High School Juniors, Rachelle Wailes and Matthew Aronson are launching their innovative, wellness product FLEXFIT, inspired by an 8th grade STEM project that came to life as a way to help people prevent injuries, something that both had experienced in their respective sports.

FLEXFIT is a three-in-one mobile device that provides a controlled stretch due to its non-elastic design. The single grip comfort handle has an integrated foam roller for self-myofascial release. The custom-designed dual roller caps are shaped and sized for trigger point therapy. This unique combination of features allows users to improve flexibility and manage their own therapeutic self-care at home, in the gym or on the road.

“To take an initial concept from a STEM project to a real product that really helps people across the athletic and wellness communities is incredibly exciting.  We’ve worked very hard on this, our eighth generation FLEXFIT, to create a proven, tested device that the users love,” says co-founder Matthew Aronson.

Physical therapists, chiropractors and fitness communities such as CrossFit have all begun to realize the major benefits that come with having a compact, multi-purpose FLEXFIT.  From dancers, to runners, to a baseball player- and all the way through to individuals with physical injuries ranging from arthritis, to Friedreich’s Ataxia(FA) which is a disease that can cause progressive damage to the nervous system.

“The dream of this product being on Kickstarter is finally becoming a reality.  We’re ready to make our eighth and final generation a reality.  We’re going to be able to help a lot of people prevent injuries, but also recover much faster.  As a dancer myself, FLEXFIT has made a tremendous difference to me, and sharing it through Kickstarter is amazing.  I can’t wait to see what 2017 brings,” says co-founder Rachelle Wailes.

FLEXFIT is a product that is to be used in the fitness community, along with the medical community as a key point in preventing injury by being able to use it anywhere- anytime. From your home, to the gym, to the office- you will be able to take this lightweight stretching device with you, to cater to your life-style needs. Through Kickstarter they aim to reach a goal of $8,200 and bring awareness to the communities they are serving through this product. KRAM Wellness was founded in 2014 by a team of teens along with their parents after having success in a national STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) competition. FLEXFIT was designed with injury prevention and active lifestyles in mind.  They have been able to develop a clinical study working with the Micheli Center of Sports Injury Prevention that has furthered our mission for bringing FLEXFIT to the nearest fitness facility and doctor practices near you!
