NiSource earnings off 16%; Nicor profit up

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) - NiSource Inc. said Friday first-quarter net income fell 16% as the natural gas transmission, storage and distribution specialist paid a $25 million pension obligation and weathered challenging economic conditions.
