A.M. Best to Participate in 2009 ICMIF Biennial Conference

A.M. Best Co. will take part in the International Cooperative and Mutual Insurance Federation’s Biennial Conference, to be held October 1–3, 2009, at the Toronto Marriott Downtown Eaton Centre Hotel. Nick Charteris-Black, Director of Global Financial Services, will be delivering a presentation on October 2 entitled, “Mutuals Post the Crisis – Rising to the Challenge? A Rating Agency Perspective,” as part of a 2:00 pm session on “Mutuality in the Macroeconomic and Competitive Contexts.” A.M. Best will also be launching a new research report on the global mutual sector, prepared by Yvette Essen, Head of Market Analysis, with cooperation from ICMIF.
