BASi Names Connie Dougherty Vice President Business Development

Bioanalytical Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:BASI) today announced the appointment of Connie Dougherty as Vice President of Business Development reporting to BASi President and Chief Executive Officer Jacqueline Lemke. She will provide leadership to drive BASi’s growth initiatives and efforts to expand the Company’s footprint.

“Connie comes to BASi with 25 years of experience in all aspects of sales and market development. Her deep understanding of business development strategies will be a great addition to our senior leadership team,” said Jacqueline Lemke. “Connie is an outstanding leader with an excellent track record of driving growth. She excels at customer marketing as well as partnering with customers. We are delighted to welcome Connie to our team.”

Dougherty joins BASi from where she most recently served as Area Marketing Manager - Northern New Jersey, Manhattan, and Queens for Sunoco, a Division of Energy Transfer Partners. In that role she was responsible for commercializing new business opportunities and developing strategic relationships. Prior to this, she was Territory Manager Downstream Business for, Exxon Company, USA/Exxon Mobil – Marketing. Dougherty also held a variety of sales leadership positions at Lehigh Gas Inc. and Sun Refining and Marketing Company.

Dougherty received a Bachelor of Science degree in business from Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey in 1985.
