American Dream Seekers Entrepreneurial Competition Opens

Entrepreneurs, Creators, Innovators and Inventors can enter Round One Submissions to the Entrepreneurial Competition, American Dream Seekers, online beginning February 1, 2015. This competition is open to individuals and teams throughout the U.S. and internationally. Contestants compete through a series of Qualifying Rounds vying for the opportunity to pitch their product, idea or service to Judges consisting of distinguished, influential business leaders, serial entrepreneurs, and angel investors on October 24, 2015 in Fort Myers, Florida for the opportunity to receive funding, mentoring and to make meaningful business connections. Also, the best presentation will receive a guaranteed prize of $5,000.

The competition consists of three qualification/elimination rounds including the initial submission, then a business plan and finally an online video pitch. Each round also consists of telephone interviews, coaching and mentoring with Executive Producers. Ultimately, 50 Semi-Finalists will compete on Event Day, October 24, 2015. From that group, 5 Finalists will be chosen to present their product on stage to 5 Finals Judges.

Last year, $100,000 was committed to Finalists during the live presentations on stage and $5,000 was awarded to Big Boi’s Barbecue. Deals are still being made and doors opened. Currently, there is a deal in excess of $1,000,000 being negotiated. “Their attention to detail was meticulous.
