Tompkins County of New York Selects Core Solutions

Tompkins County which provides health and human services (HHS) to the residents of New York and Core Solutions, Inc. (Core), the progressive leader in integrated behavioral health Electronic Health Records (EHR) that transform the behavioral, medical and social services experience announced today that Tompkins County has selected Core as its EHR platform for both Mental and Community Health Programs.

Tompkins County embarked on a journey to find an EHR vendor that had experience working with county agencies to deliver a comprehensive EHR platform that has the flexibility to be utilized by both Mental Health and Community Health Programs. After the exhaustive selection process, Core Solutions’ experience and the flexibility of the Cx360 EHR platform were the unique differentiators that led them to be the vendor of choice for Tompkins County. Once the platform is implemented it will enable the programs to move away from paper-based processes and gain operational efficiencies to reduce costs and improve client care.

The Mental Health Department of Tompkins County provides care coordination, assessment, counseling, treatment, and crisis services to adults, children and families with mental health impairments, on a sliding scale basis. Additionally the department Provides court-ordered evaluations for family courts in Tompkins and adjacent counties, and evaluates and provides or monitors mental health services for jail inmates.
