Health Dimensions Group Names Robert Hanson as Its Chief Operating Officer

Health Dimensions Group (HDG) today announced that Robert (Rob) Hanson has been appointed Chief Operating Officer, a new position within Health Dimensions Group. Effective immediately Hanson will lead HDG’s management services operation with broad administrative and financial responsibilities for and oversight of its 26 care communities. He will also manage segments of HDG’s business operations, including corporate compliance, safety, quality and MN Cap Works, its worker’s compensation company.

Prior to this HDG appointment, Hanson was responsible for leading the operations and quality outcomes as Area Vice President for Extendicare in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, overseeing 47 skilled nursing facilities and four assisted living centers.

Hanson also served as COO for Augustana Care Corporation in Minneapolis, MN. Hanson’s career has also included roles with Beverly Enterprises as Administrator, VP of Operations, and Regional Vice President overseeing 109 communities in five states.

Hanson earned his Bachelor Degree in Finance from Moorhead State University in Moorhead, MN, and completed the program in hospital/nursing home administration at Concordia College in Moorhead.
