The KAM Electronic Music Sharing Community, also known as Kritikallmusic, is designed to promote the sharing, purchasing and enjoyment of electronic music to all. Now, the creator of this music sharing community has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds to promote and distribute information about the group.
According to the creator, “Everything has to start with electronic music fans who want to share their discoveries with their friends and others. Our concept was simple: creating one of the first French platforms on which the latest music could be shared by providing a free listening environment. In exchange we ask a ‘Kritik’ (comment / rating) of each title in order to gather reviews from real electro music fans, not just those that the industry offers us.”
The site consists of community information in French based on user participation. Both artists and fans can add content anonymously. All artists, labels and users have the opportunity to share and promote their music with the community. Working with social networks and legal platforms as well as streaming music purchases, the site will collect and cross-reference data on artists, music and labels to offer free listening; however, all purchases will be made through legal channels. The site will also group links and information spaces to artists or their labels in order to track them via their official platforms.
Kritikallmusic (KAM) not only features sharing of information, but also develops the functions of a contribution and reward system known as the “Easy Listening Index.” This feature offers tools developed specifically for user experience and is a participatory streaming platform.
