Solid Wastes; 6. Eco-environment; 7. Natural Disasters; 8. Investment in the Treatment of Environmental Pollution; 9. City Environment; 10. Rural Environment. Five chapters listed as the appendices are Environment Situation of Eastern, Central and Western; Main Environmental Indicators of the World's Major Countries and Regions; Main Environmental Indicators in the 10th Five-year Plan Period & 11th Five-year Plan Period; The Main Pollutants Emission Indicators communique of the provinces, Autonomous Regions,Municipality Directly under the Central Government in the First Half of 2007; Explanatory Notes on Main Statistical Indicators.
3, The national data in this book do not include that of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Macao Special Administrative Region and Taiwan Province except for territory and forest resources. Urban Construction statistical system had been amended by the Ministry of Construction of China in 2006. Scope, caliber and calculated method of some indicators are adjusted, so it can not be directly compared with data of the previous year.
4, The institutions participating in the compilation of this publication include: Ministry of Water Resource, Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Land and Resource, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Civil Affairs, State Forestry Administration, State Oceanic Administration, China Meteorological Administration, China Seismological Administration.
