Deceuninck North America, a leading manufacturer of building products, is pleased to announce that it has hired Mark E. Lipsius to help launch the Kodiak® brand and portfolio of building products through its own distribution channel. Until this year, Deceuninck always manufactured products for other assemblers and resellers.
“Mark has an extensive and balanced 21-year history working in the building products industry,” says Alan Rowland, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Deceuninck. “From distribution to manufacturing, and disciplines in sales, sales management, marketing and product development, Mark brings a wealth of talent to our organization.”
Alan adds that Mark’s background includes 12 years in distribution at Metal Rolling, the specialty siding and window distributor based in Memphis, Tennessee. There he held roles ranging from contractor/builder sales to branch operations manager over five branches. Most recently, Mark came from Alcoa Home Exteriors, a subsidiary of Ply Gem Industries headquartered in Kearney, Missouri, where across eight years he held positions in sales, sales management and marketing for Alcoa Building Products. Most recently, he was responsible for marketing of the Oasis deck and rail product line as well as other wood-composite building products from Alcoa.
“I am passionate about expanding the footprint of Kodiak Building Products and helping to develop the next generation of siding products,” says Mark. “I am also looking forward to completing a one-source value proposition for distribution with our growing portfolio of products, not to mention products on the drawing board.”
Mark holds a Bachelor degree in Sociology from the University of Tennessee.
