ScaleMP Announces Support for Dell PowerEdge M610 Blades Featuring Intel Nehalem Processors

ScaleMP, a leading provider of virtualization solutions for high-end computing, is announcing today the support for Dell PowerEdge M610 blades, featuring the Intel® Xeon® processor 5500 series (Nehalem). vSMP Foundation and the Dell PowerEdge M610 blades deliver the industry’s highest memory bandwidth and FLOPS for shared-memory x86 systems. This solution is the first system to overcome the 2-socket limitation of Intel’s Nehalem processor, scaling up to 32 sockets shared memory system (128 cores and 4TB RAM).
