Big resistance seen as S&P 500 gears for 1,000

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- The S&P 500's steep climb over the past two weeks has brought the benchmark in sight of 1,000, a level it hasn't hit since November. But stocks will likely meet stiff resistance making that next move higher, analysts say.
