On April 29, 2013, The Monday of The Same Week as Thursday's National Day Of Prayer, One Church // One Voice and Save America Gathering Announce the First of Five One-Hundred-Day-Long Prayer Segments: Prayers of Ernest and Heartfelt Confession in Conjunction with Prayers for Forgiveness and Mercy.

PR Log - Apr 29, 2013 - One Church // One Voice, in association with Save America Gathering, is announcing the next phase of the continuing "555 Days of Prayer to Save America." The prayer initiative, which began on March 5, 2013 and will continue until September 11, 2014, will focus the next hundred days of prayers on personal confession of sins and shortcomings, and prayers asking for mercy and forgiveness.

Planners cite the scriptural importance of honest confession of sins, and  the need for all believers to accept responsibility for wrongdoings and ask forgiveness. "Even though Christ has died to forgive us, we need to ask for the remission of our ongoing sins, on a continuing basis, in order to purify our lives. We need God's forgiveness, for He has already sent His son, and yet we labor in sin. This hundred days is crucial to preparing the participants for future prayer segments, as we continue through the five-hundred and fifty-five days of this to God, in prayer," said Robert Berry, Servant Leader of the event.

The prayer initiative, which is thematically based on the 555-foot height of the Washington Monument, the most lofty point in Washington, DC, is the follow on to last year's "Save America Gathering," http://www.saveamericagathering.com and continues the process of intercession for America that was begun with that sacred assembly. Planners say they are erecting a monument of prayer, with each segment specially themed to lead to God's intervention in the United States of America, for the sake of the nation's salvation.

Berry and other organizers cite recent events, such as widespread random gun violence and mass killings, the deadly tempests, the droughts, and the Boston Marathon terror attacks as evidence that the Lord, our God is withholding His protection from our land, due to the path our country is presently moving on, in all aspects of our culture. "We are threatened in all each and every one of the "Seven Mountains of Culture." Consequences are certain!" said Berry.

The "555 Days of Prayer to Save America" is tentatively scheduled to end with a nationwide wave offering of the U.S. Christian Flag. Participants interested in purchasing the U.S. Christian Flag may visit uschristianflag.com. http://www.uschristianflag.com. All believers in the Resurrection of Jesus, Messiah, including Messianic Jewish believers, are invited to join in this prayer initiative and complete the remainder of the 555 days.
