About the honorees

Mark Siegel has led the APDA as Chapter President for 12 years in Los Angeles. He is an optimist who has been involved in advocacy and legislation to benefit PD research. He has been instrumental in an increase in fundraising from $20,000 to well over $300,000.

With his “glass half full” attitude combined with his fervor for promoting change, he will continue to fight to help people everywhere and especially those with Parkinson’s disease.

A true visionary, Dr. Michele Tagliati has recently burst into the L.A. community at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center as the Director of the Movement Disorders Program in the Neurology Department. He may be new to L.A., but he is held in high esteem in the field of PD Worldwide. He is a pioneer in the development in Deep Brain Stimulation, and continues to educate neurologists about DBS programming at The American Academy of Neurology.

Join us as we honor two men with optimism and vision who have made an enormous impact on the lives of those with Parkinson’s disease.
