Colorado Technical University Speaker Series Offers Students and Alumni Insights from Nationally-Recognized Industry Experts

Colorado Technical University (CTU) today announced that video game designer and gamification authority Jane McGonigal and business relationship expert Keith Ferrazzi will speak with CTU students, alumni and faculty as part of the 2014 CTU Presents lecture series.

CTU Presents is a series of interactive guest lectures for current and aspiring leaders that cover top-of-mind topics like emerging technology, innovative approaches to problem-solving, and building a powerful professional network. The program uses social and mobile technology to connect thousands of CTU students, alumni, and faculty worldwide with globally-recognized experts in business, management, and technology. CTU Presents kicks off on April 17 with a lecture from Jane McGonigal, a designer of alternate reality games that improve lives and solve real-world problems. As part of CTU’s quarterly Doctoral Symposium in Denver, McGonigal will share insights from her New York Times bestselling book, “Reality is Broken: Why Games Make Us Better and How They Can Change the World,” to explain how gaming propels people to uncover their own innovative methods for addressing human needs.

On June 20, as part of CTU’s graduation weekend in Denver, Keith Ferrazzi will speak with students about the importance of building meaningful relationships. Ferrazzi, an expert in business relationship development and behavioral and organizational change, will present practical ways to grow and cultivate a professional network from his New York Times bestselling books “Never Eat Alone” and “Who’s Got Your Back?”
