Co-Founder To Discuss Job Search App, Providing A New Way For Employers And Candidates To Connect

Hosted by Melody Mendez, Corey McPherrin and Darlene Hill, Good Day Chicago is a 3 hour morning talk and news show covering a variety of topics both national and local to the Chicago area.
Dan Mullaney is a consultant and business strategist. Some of his other projects include HiredMD.com, a job search site for physicians and MBAProjectSearch.com, which helps MBA candidates and graduates find opportunities. He previously worked for more than 8 years as a Wholesale Account Executive in Finance in the New York City area.
Through his past experience, Dan became frustrated with the tedious nature of recruiting candidates. "We sourced thousands of MBA candidates (on MBA Project Search), but the process was extremely time consuming, especially dealing with the simple task of resume scanning. We realized through looking at the Tinder UI that it works very well for a quick resume scan," says Mullaney. "We reduced the resume to a couple of lines that include these key criteria. If the recruiter doesn’t think the candidate is a fit based on these items, they simply swipe left. If they like what they see but need more information, they expand the listing to get a complete experience vantage.”
