Motorola, AT&T, Verizon top telecoms

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) - Several large telecommunications companies, including AT&T Inc., Verizon Communications Inc. and Motorola Inc., rose in Friday trading, but most sector stocks tacked mildly lower.
