Japan and U.S. look to extend naval missions after law change

TOKYO, March 31 (Reuters) - Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's push to revise the constitution to allow Tokyo's right to collective self defense will pave the way for closer cooperation between U.S. and Japanese forces in Asia, a top U.S. commander said on Tuesday.
