Ron Sloy Provided Introduction of Steve Ford at NWUCA Convention in Sunriver, Oregon

The 2016 Northwest Utility Contractors Association was in June.

PORTLAND, OR, June 25, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ron Sloy provided the introduction of the son of former President Gerald R. Ford and Betty Ford, at the Convention of the Northwest Utility Contractor's Association in Sunriver, Oregon on Saturday, June 4, 2016. Many years ago, Ron had a chance meeting with President and Mrs. Ford in Palm Desert, California, so his introduction was most entertaining.

Steve was selected as the speaker due to his unique perspective on life as the President's son; being 18 years-old and having ten Secret Service agents as constant companions; his father's pardon of President Nixon to help put an end to the infamous Watergate affair; two assassination attempts on his father's life as well as his mother's bouts with alcoholism and breast cancer.
