Eight Days of Weak: Dow Drops 45 Points as Trump Rout Avoided

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell for the eighth consecutive day today--but the loss was a fraction of what it could have been . The Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 45.74 points, or 0.2% to 20,550.98, its eight decline in a row. The S&P 500 dipped 0.1% to 2,341.59, while the Nasdaq composite advanced 0.2% to 5,840.37.
