Kinder Morgan takes pole position in Bakken

Daniel J. Graeber HOUSTON, Jan. 22 (UPI) -- Midstream energy company Kinder Morgan announced it spent roughly $3 billion to acquire a rival pipeline company operating in the Bakken play in North Dakota.
