Inclusive of her numerous years in the mortgage origination and law environments, Leslie developed well established long term relationships among the appraisal, real estate, law and mortgage brokerage communities.
During her collegiate career, Leslie earned a Finance Diploma in Financial Services Underwriting from the Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology, graduating with Honors. She completed all requisite courses to become a Certified Law Clerk through the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario. Leslie served on the Board of Directors of the Independent Mortgage Brokers Association from 2008-2010 and is a member of both IMBA and CAAMP (Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals). She also served on the Board of Directors for the City of Kawartha Lakes Parks and Recreation Department and the Canadian Mental Health Association. In 2009, Leslie conferred with the International Monetary Fund during their visit to the Canadian provinces for real estate market research which resulted in a published paper called Canadian Residential Mortgage Markets written by John Kiff.
