Fred's, Inc. (NASDAQ: FRED) today announced that it will provide an online Web simulcast of its second quarter 2014 earnings conference call on Thursday, August 28, 2014. The Company's results for the second quarter and six months ended August 2, 2014, will be released after the close of market on Thursday, August 28, 2014.

The live broadcast of Fred's conference call will begin at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on August 28, 2014.
