Please check back for further updates.. Economists in a consensus survey expected the August U.S. Consumer Price Index to be flat, compared to a 0.1 percent rise from the prior month. Separately, the second-quarter U.S. current account deficit was seen widening to $114 billion, from $111.2 billion in the previous quarter.
