Twitpic to shut down after failed acquisition

Aileen Graef PALO ALTO, Calif., Oct. 17 (UPI) -- Twitpic photo sharing service will shut down Oct. 25 after failing to be acquired and thus saved following a trademark complaint from Twitter.
