The Iridium Jazz Club New York, NY Sunday, February 1st at 3pm EST
PRLog - Jan. 15, 2015 - NEW YORK -- This Super Bowl Sunday, there will be a crowd of football fans gathering to cheer on some different kind of hits – the musical kind. Before the “Big Game” New York’s legendary jazz club, The Iridium, will open its doors to host “Audible 2015”, the live music charity event helmed by Fieldhouse/BMG musician, Jess Domain, to raise awareness of the dangers of concussions and brain trauma afflicted athletes.
“Super Bowl Sunday is historically a day of celebration,” says Domain. “I wanted to add to this year’s festivities by performing my music and, at the same time, get a conversation started about a very serious issue that can potentially affect the lives of athletes of all ages who participate in contact sports.”
While some may consider it’s theme Anti-Super Bowl, Jess Domain see this more as an opportunity to entertain and enlighten her audience. As word spread about “Audible” among her friends throughout the Broadway and musical theater community, guest appearance slots filled up quickly for the 90-minute show. The Iridium audience can expect to be dazzled by voices from such renowned shows as Phantom of The Opera, Serenade and more.
“We thank Jess for her hard work in helping to bring awareness to this critical issue and are excited for this great event!” says Elizabeth Cahn, Director of Development for The Sports Legacy Institute.
