SanDisk Corp. (Nasdaq: SNDK) reported lower second quarter revenue and earnings of 38 cents per share compared with $1.14 per share in the year ago period but the results surpassed expectations. Shares of the data storage solutions company leaped $9.52 to close at $63.70.
