Employers Added 160,000 Jobs in April

The Labor Department reports the U.S. economy added 160,000 jobs in April, below expectations for 202,000 jobs. The unemployment rate remained at 5.0% as expected. Meanwhile, the labor force participation rate fell to 62.8% from 63.0%.
