Shares of Google (GOOG) gained 1.1% for the week ended Friday, marking a record 12 consecutive weeks of gains for the stock, a company record. Mountain View, Calif.-based Google closed Friday at 767.65, about even for the day. The stock opened Monday, Oct. 1 at 759.05. Google's shares have now climbed 33.1% since the consecutive-week streak began on July 16. Google's stock has never had 12 consecutive weekly gains. Last week was only the second
