Investors locked in profits on Groupon Inc. (Nasdaq: GRPN), whose stock price soared last week on rumors that Google Inc. (Nasdaq: GOOG) was interested in acquiring the company. Shares of Groupon lost 44 cents to close at $4.25 while Google stock rose $1.21 to close at $685.42.
