Stock futures flat ahead of retail sales, claims

Retail sales data is set to call the tune, with stock index futures trading slightly lower in directionless trade as the bullish impact of the Fed’s decision a day earlier to boost monetary stimulus was offset by worries over the fiscal cliff.
