TSMC Posts Surge In December Revenue

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co (NYSE: TSM ) posted a rise in its December revenue. TSMC's unconsolidated revenue surged 20% to 36.56 billion New Taiwan dollars (US$1.26 billion) in December, versus NT$30.57 billion, in the year-ago month. Its consolidated revenue climbed 19% to NT$37.11 billion, from NT$31.24 billion. TSMC shares closed at $17.54
