Apple Branches Out in the Animal Kingdom While Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) may have reduced growth prospects for the year the maker of the iPhone has found a new group of iPad fans in a dozen zoos: orangutans. The group Orangutan Outreach started the program Apps for Apes with the goal of  creating a more stimulating experience for the Indonesian natives housed in zoos while raising awareness about the primates’ endangered status in the wild.
