Thursday’s movers: Tech stocks hit by PC shipments

Shares of Hewlett-Packard Co. and Microsoft Corp. fell on Thursday in premarket trading as global shipments of PCs slid in the first quarter. J.C. Penney continued to attract attention as more executives departed.
