AIG earnings: $1.25 per share, vs. expected EPS of $1.05

AIG reported earnings per share of $1.25 on revenue of $8.53 billion. Analysts had expected AIG to report earnings of about $1.05 a share on $7.72 billion in revenue, according to a consensus estimate from Thomson Reuters.
