George Pollis, A United States Coastguard Veteran, Singer Song writer Lenny Lloyd and (retired) First Sgt Daniel Lumbardi (Special Forces) have joined together their musical talents to write and record the song The song “The Cost of Our Freedom ”. This song has been dedicated to all of the Wounded Warriors and all of those who believe in Heroes. Over the last few months this Trio has been working diligently to complete the final version by the recent Memorial Day. The song’s lyrics are written first hand as this group has served in the US Armed forces and also served its country in the Middle East conflicts. George Pollis from the Reel Ting Steel Drum Band was asked to donate his talents and time to recording Steel Drums to this song. Pollis stated that “It was a privilege to be asked help out on such as great cause”. He also stated “When I received the final version of the song from the Studio, tears filled my eyes and then I prayed, Truly The Cost of Our Freedom”.
Lenny Lloyd singer/song writer has dedicated the last few years of his time and resources to give something back to our heroes. Lenny states ‘this song was written about the composition of our Heroes. I wanted to reach out to them and their families on this Memorial Day. It’s hard to even imagine what’s on their Hearts and in their minds on this special day. Lloyd also stated that “all the effort in developing this song was in the right Place. When you have a Purple Heart Recipient Veteran musician performing beside you and another Veterans musician performing along with you, you know that their Hearts are in Right place”.

Believe in Heroes™ calls on Americans to recognize the enormous sacrifices made by our newest generation of veterans and to honor the service of these individuals between September 11 and November 11.
