PRLog - Sep. 26, 2014 - SEATTLE -- In celebration of Women of Achievement month, NAPW Seattle Chapter will host their monthly event on Tuesday, September 30th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Circa Green Lake 6900 East Green Lake Way North. The evening event will feature guest speakers; including Mitch Shepard, Executive Coach and Founder & Creative Force of Women in Real Life Leadership (WiRL), an innovative professional development series for professional women. Jill Judy, Realtor and Professional Stager, will be hosting the event.

The event will provide women with new skills to help others succeed around them. Ms. Shepard will be speaking on women and courage, using this theme as a platform to encourage women who have felt that fear stands in the way of their success, or passed up opportunities because they were not “ready.” Working in tandem with Dress for Success, an organization that provides underprivileged women with the professional business attire needed to confidently show up for job interviews and placements; NAPW urges members to clean out their closets and donate their gently used business attire.

NAPW Chapter President Dr. Selena Tramayne is looking forward to celebrating successful women in the workplace, “We are fortunate to have so many intelligent, talented, and successful women in our organization. I love that we can provide opportunities for them to hear speakers like Mitch Shepard so they can learn tools and strategies that will help them go even further in their careers and businesses. It is so fitting that we are having our clothing drive for Dress for Success during Women of Achievement Month! Our organization is all about women helping women succeed.”

Last month’s speaker, Dr. Dianne Juhl, CEO and Founder of The Feminine Face of Money spoke to attendees providing usable tips for women to avoid bullying in the workplace. NAPW will have a large turnout for the September 30th event, great networking and an opportunity to connect with new members too.
