Avon Products Beats Profit Estimates, Buoyed By Strength In Europe

Avon Products Inc. said Thursday it had net income of $91.4 million, or 21 cents a share, in the third quarter, after a loss of $5.5 million, or 1 cent a share, in the same period a year ago.
