TALENT, OR – Drevo Optics has introduced its first line of handcrafted wooden eyewear.
Drevo Optics, which brings over 40 years of woodworking experience, is now putting their expertise into sunglasses. They are currently working with rosewood, but are experimenting with different materials everyday.
The sunglasses will be available for purchase through their IndieGogo Campaign, “Drevo Optics Wooden Eyewear.” They will soon be available to purchase through their website drevooptics.com and selected retail stores.
“After three years of design work and prototyping, I am proud of the product we can produce, and I can’t wait for people to get to wear our sunglasses, “ said Kyle Gargus, Drevo Optic’s Co-Founder. “We want our creativity and passion to be present in everything that we make, and I know we achieved that with our glasses.”
Drevo Optics is currently offering three different models that can be found on their IndieGogo campaign. All the models are handcrafted out of rosewood and are designed to fit the unique shape of the human head. The glasses are made to be as unique as the individual wearing them.
Father and son, George and Kyle Gargus, founded Drevo Optics, based in Talent, Oregon, in 2014.
