Houston company Abacus Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electrical.encourages Houstonians to nominate their favorite local charity for a chance to win a $1,000 donation in their name.

Abacus introduced a Facebook campaign starting Tuesday, November 18 which will end on Sunday, December 21 to encourage its customers and the general public to compose stories about their favorite Houston area charity. The winning Post will be picked by Abacus staff members the week of Christmas, December 22, and that winning charity will be given a one-thousand dollar ($1,000) donation by Abacus on behalf of the individual who had the winning nomination.
